Your hard work and creativity deserve the spotlight. Submit your short film to the Mahindra Short Film Challenge. Upload your entry using YouTube, Vimeo, or Google Drive link, and take your first step toward national recognition.
Timeline & Evaluation Criteria
Every submitted film will be carefully reviewed by our expert jury within 8–10 days. Each entry will be evaluated based on storytelling, creativity, execution, and overall impact. Whether your film is public or private, it will receive equal attention and fair consideration for the award.
Shining Stories
Short films earning a rating of 6.8 or higher will be featured prominently on our platform. Our editorial team will craft a special mention highlighting your work, and selected films will also be promoted through Mahindra’s official Instagram page and newsletters — giving your story the visibility it deserves.

The challenge is open to all filmmakers in India between 18 and 35 years old. Professional and amateur storytellers are welcome to submit their unique perspectives on rural life.
Focus on stories that highlight agricultural life, farmer experiences, rural innovation, and community resilience. Your film should capture the heart of India's agricultural landscape.
Our expert panel evaluates submissions based on storytelling depth, creative execution, alignment with Mahindra values, and emotional impact on the audience.
Top films will receive cash prizes, mentorship opportunities, and potential screening at national film festivals. The winner gets a comprehensive filmmaking workshop.
