• Mahindra Tractors ‘Placement Diwas’ connects youth at Raipur to career opportunities

Raipur, November 27, 2024: Mahindra Tractors announced the successful completion of its inaugural batch of ‘Tractor Tech’ skill development program in Chhattisgarh, at the District Project Livelihood College Society, Raipur – the first such program in the state of Chhattisgarh. The youth participants successfully completing this program will receive their skill certificates from Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), marking a significant milestone in their career journeys.

Mahindra Tractors ‘Tractor Tech’ skill development program provides candidates with industry relevant skill training, followed by on-job training opportunities for rural youth, both young men and women, aligning with Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi's focus on skill development to leverage India's demographic dividend. Mahindra Tractors has curated a unique curriculum covering skill development across areas of tractor service, sales, and assembly, delivered by the experienced Mahindra Tractors' trainers in this field. Through this program, youth get hands-on experience on latest equipment in mobility and mechanisation.

On completion of this program, youth at the centre were connected to career opportunities by virtue of Mahindra Tractors ‘Placement Diwas' organised jointly with District Project Livelihood College Society, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. These opportunities were across sales, service, and assembly roles at Mahindra's dealerships and manufacturing plants, in addition to opportunities across other organisations.
