Pithampur, March 06, 2025: Mahindra Tractors, part Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., celebrated its women employees at its Farm Machinery manufacturing facility in Pithampur. The celebration coincides with International Women's Day on March 08.

With a presence of over 40 women deployed across various functions, Mahindra’s Pithampur facility plays a pivotal role in women empowerment, exemplifying Mahindra Group’s commitment to nurturing a supportive work environment for women, while accommodating the diverse needs of its employees.

With provisions designed to promote work-life balance, Mahindra & Mahindra has also set a high benchmark in the manufacturing sector by offering five-year-long "career reassuring and flexibility" policies to women employees in their journey of motherhood

Located in the Pithampur Industrial Area, Mahindra’s Pithampur plant is Mahindra’s first exclusive farm machinery plant launched in 2022. Strategically situated with access to a diverse supplier base, Mahindra’s Pithampur plant enables Mahindra to manufacture durable, high-quality, affordable and accessible ‘Made in India, for India’ farm machinery, marketed in both the Mahindra & Swaraj brands. With its well-planned lay-out, the new plant is rolls-out a series of new products designed at Mahindra’s global technology Centres of Excellence in Finland, Japan and Turkey.

Mahindra is also celebrating Women’s Day across its other plant locations in Mumbai, Nagpur, Rudrapur, Zaheerabad and Jaipur.
